Four-season camping tents are light, compact and easy to carry, which makes them a strong choice for touring. They are generally built in two layers, an outer tent and an inner tent. The combination improves waterproofing while the inner layer stays breathable and resists condensation. Standard construction is polyester fabric with fiberglass poles, which keeps weight low. Nylon fabric and aluminum poles reduce weight further and improve breathability at a higher cost.

The tent is quick to pitch and consists of the tent fabric, poles, carry bag, guy ropes and pegs. It arrives compactly packed and folds back down easily. Setup takes around one minute. The structure is self-supporting, so once assembled the tent can be moved to find the best position, and pack-down is simply a matter of collapsing it and returning everything to the bag. Demonstration videos are available on request.

The interior carries a silver coating that reduces UV transmission. A vinyl treatment can also be applied internally to darken the tent further, so occupants can rest without being disturbed by light. The outer surface is PU coated, which keeps the tent breathable. The waterproof rating is 2000mm. Fabric and waterproof performance are verified in house, and every tent is waterproof tested.

The inner tent uses breathable mesh, and the doors and windows are positioned to create a through-flow ventilation system. The door mesh is high-density, resisting tearing while keeping mosquitoes out. A waterproof mat can be laid under the tent to keep the floor dry, and keeping the base off direct ground contact also limits internal condensation.
