Outdoor recreation continues to grow, and camping is now a mainstream leisure activity. The market covers tents, sleeping bags, tables and chairs, barbecue grills and outdoor cookware, with tents accounting for the largest share. The tent determines the quality of the camping experience more than any other item in the pack.

Polyester is one of the most widely used tent fabrics, and polyester tents have become popular with campers and backpackers because of their low pack weight. Groups of two or three typically carry one or two tents. Multi-room tents solve the space problem for groups of three, four or more, but the traditional versions are bulky, heavy and slow to pitch.

Homful Group developed a tent to close that gap. Used on its own it is a 2-3 person tent, and it can also be linked to other units to form a multi-room shelter. The door was redesigned with a zipper along the top so tents can be joined together, the zipper seam is sealed against seepage, and waterproof zippers are used throughout.
Linked tents keep occupants in contact while preserving the privacy of each unit. Every tent remains independent and a door at the junction prevents disturbance between them. This is our first single-layer construction, and the interior remains breathable and waterproof. The fabric is 210T polyester, which is strong and tear-resistant, with a waterproof index of 5,000mm for use in heavy rain. Waterproof tape is applied at every seam to eliminate leaks, and triangular breathable windows improve air circulation inside.
