The summer version is built with mesh on all four sides, which addresses the two main summer complaints, heat and mosquitoes, and keeps the interior from feeling stuffy. The mesh is high-density B3, which resists snagging and tearing and extends service life. The roof is Oxford cloth rather than mesh, so the tent blocks direct sun when pitched in the open.

The winter version uses transparent PVC throughout. PVC retains heat while keeping the interior bright and giving occupants a clear outward view, which suits sitting, dining and entertaining in cold weather. Solid fiberglass poles are used for their toughness and cost efficiency, keeping the landed cost competitive for resale. Guy ropes and ground pegs are included to improve stability.
