Tunnel Tent Advantages
7 Reasons to Specify the HOMFUL Tunnel Tent for Large Family and Glamping Ranges
1. Wind and rain resistance
The inner and outer tent fabrics are rated to 2000mm water pressure and the groundsheet to 3000mm, so the tent stays secure in exposed, wet and windy conditions.
2. Sun protection
The outer tent carries a UV50+ coating that blocks ultraviolet light and reduces light transmission, so occupants are not woken by early daylight.
The outer tent is Oxford cloth, which ventilates well and suits spring, summer and autumn use without becoming stuffy in high temperatures.
3. Pole quality
The tent poles are 7001 aluminum alloy, giving a strong, corrosion-resistant frame with a clean finish.
4. Ventilation
The outer tent has six windows plus front and rear doors, which gives airflow well above the category norm and keeps the interior cool in summer. Windows and doors are screened, keeping mosquitoes out while still shedding light rain.
5. Interior space and access
At 2.1m in height, adults can stand upright inside and under the extension. The inner tent sleeps four adults, and the outer area takes several tables and chairs without crowding.
The tent has four entry points and includes front and rear tarps. The front door has an adjustable two-section vestibule that adds space and privacy. The supplied tarp removes the need to rig a separate one.
6. Detailing
Wrinkle-resistant webbing stiffens the structure, and the snow skirt seals out rain and sand. A cable port in the inner tent routes power leads without letting mosquitoes in, and waterproof strips seal the seams against leakage. Storage pockets in both the outer and inner tent keep equipment organized.
7. Fast pitching
Pole sleeves are color-matched to the poles and clearly marked, so two adults can pitch the tent in 15-20 minutes.
