Function

The fabric rolls out to create shade and rain cover at any parking position, which is the main requirement in RV camping use.

For RV owners, the awning is a standard part of the camping setup rather than an optional accessory.
The awning blocks direct sunlight and UV exposure and provides cover from wind and light rain, so cooking and seating can take place outside the vehicle.
The awning posts can also carry a clothes line, and the sheltered area takes chairs and a table. Light rain does not interrupt use of an outdoor kitchen under the awning.

The awning can be extended with side panels, curtains or an add-a-room tent to create an enclosed area, which increases the sheltered space available.
