Material: the liner is made from polyester pongee, a soft fabric that feels comfortable against the skin. The standard length is 190+30 cm, with the additional 30 cm forming a pillow sleeve. The width is 90 cm, wider than the 75 to 85 cm common on the market, which suits both men and women and allows more freedom of movement.
How it is used: the liner is placed inside a sleeping bag. Sleeping bags are bulky and their linings are difficult to clean, and many cannot be machine washed at all, so the liner takes the wear instead and can be laundered on its own. At 0.35 kg per unit it packs down small, and travellers often use it as a hotel sheet sack before getting into the hotel bedding, then wash it on return.
